Tottenham ace Eriksen dreaming of Euro2016

Christian Eriksen admits he has dreamt of scoring the goal that sends Denmark to the European Championships.

The Danes host Sweden in the play-off second leg in Copenhagen on Tuesday following the 2-1 defeat in the first leg on Saturday.

Ahead of the all-important clash, Tottenham star Eriksen has admitted to dreaming of providing his country with the goal that sees them safely through to Euro2016 but insists he is not bothered who scores, as long as Denmark progress.

"Obviously I want to score more goals for the national team. I am not satisfied with my goal rate, but I don't think I get as many chances as at Tottenham," he said.

"In the Premier League we play a more direct style and on the national team with a lot of passes. So I like the combination. Sometimes we could use some more calm in our play in Tottenham and sometimes we need to play more direct in the national team.

"When we drew Sweden I closed my eyes and dreamed about scoring the goal that gets us to the Euros but in the end, it doesn't matter who does it as long as we get to France."
