After winning the Wales Footballer of the Year award for a second year running, Gareth Bale has warned rivals that there is plenty more to come.
The 22-year old Tottenham star was crowned with the award in Cardiff on Tuesday night for an outstanding 12-month period for the Dragons and he says that he is looking to get even better after a meteoric rise in recent years.
"It's always nice to win an award, especially when you look at the names who have previously won this award, it's great to be among them," he said.
"I want to play as well as I can every game at club or international level and always give 100 per cent. It is good to get awards but as a team the most important thing is we have stayed together and we have progressed.
"I am getting a bit older and I am getting a bit more confident in my game, I am learning and I want to take it to the next level, hopefully there is more to come."
