Tottenham winger Gareth Bale feels he's now over his injury problems.

At frequent moments, Bale's progress has been interrupted by injuries but he is now confident that the physical and psychological problems they bring are behind him.

"When you first come back after an injury, it's always on your mind and it's not nice but as time goes by, your confidence builds," he told the London Evening Standard.

"I've got to the stage now where I don't even think about them.

"I had a bit of a back problem at the start of 2011 which slowed me down slightly and then there was an unfortunate tackle [from Charlie Adam in a match against Blackpool last season] which put me out for a while but I've definitely come back stronger.

"I had a really good pre-season and I feel like I'm playing as well as I have ever done."
