Tottenham are ready to offer Jan Vertonghen new terms.
Kyle Walker yesterday became the seventh Spurs player this month to extend their deal and manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed another will be agreed in "the next few days".
The Daily Mail says the player will be Vertonghen, who has two years remaining on his contract and has been in discussions over an extension since early in 2016.
The Belgian centre-half will follow Danny Rose, Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Harry Winks, Tom Carroll, Christian Eriksen and Walker in committing to the club. Erik Lamela is also close to agreeing terms.
