Wales boss John Toshack has warned Cardiff City teenager Aaron Ramsey about moving to the Premiership too young.
Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal are chasing the 17 year-old, but Toshack says: "A lot of people are making a lot of fuss about Aaron. But he is still very young and has not started too many games at Cardiff, he is not in their first-choice line-up.
"He has still got quite some way to go. He has played a few times for our under-21s, but we need to get to know him a bit more.
"We have had examples in our squad of young lads who have got into our side and set new records as Wales internationals, and then got themselves big-money moves to Premier League clubs.
"The likes of David Cotterill, Lewin Nyatanga, Gareth Bale and Chris Gunter have all gone into Premier League clubs very young.
"But it has not always helped us. Cotterill barely got a game at Wigan, Gunter has been outstanding for us but has moved to Spurs and is not getting the amount of football we had hoped he would.
"But if Ramsey does get a move to a higher division, however good he is, it is in our interests that he goes out on loan so he can play regularly. If not then a step up becomes difficult for youngsters."
