Fernando Torres says Liverpool must be careful not to rush Steven Gerrard back from his hamstring injury.

Torres said: "Stevie doesn't have a substitute at Liverpool. It's his name first on the teamsheet then 10 others.

"Stevie's the lad every great side has - our leader, the one-club man.

"But I know from experience hamstring problems are risky. If you get one there's nothing you can do but let it repair."
