Torres tells Chelsea fans: I ain't going anywhere

Fernando Torres is ready to dig in and stay with Chelsea. Torres, 29, insists he wants to see out his Blues contract.

He said: "I've never hidden that I am grateful because Atletico gave me many things, but the reality is I am in another team and I have three more years on my contract.

"I have a lot of things to give to Chelsea and many things to prove to myself before returning home.

"Right now, returning to Atletico is not a reality."

His poor form for Chelsea meant he lost his place in Vicente Del Bosque's Spain squad.

But Torres vowed to fight to get back in the fold ahead of next year's World Cup in Brazil.

The Blues star added: "I hope to be able to return to the national team.

"The first step is to do well at my club and that will give me more options of returning.

"I want to do well in order to return. We have a lot to win and many joys to give people and many tournaments to play with this generation.

"Of course getting back in to the national team is one of my objectives."
