Chelsea caretaker manager Roberto Di Matteo insists he does not care if Fernando Torres scores or not, as long as the Blues win.
The former West Bromwich Albion boss took the reins at Stamford Bridge in the wake of Andre Villas-Boas' departure and kicked things off with a 2-0 win at Birmingham City in the FA Cup fifth round on Tuesday night.
That match took Torres' barren run to almost 24 hours but that figure does not register with Di Matteo who simply wants the Spaniard to continue contributing in other ways.
"He plays hard and tries hard; he had a great game on Tuesday and the only thing missing was a goal, but I don't really care about that, as long as the team wins.
"I know you focus on the goalscorers, but we're through to the next round and that's it. It will come (for him). I'm sure you've had some bad moments in your life when things didn't go the way you wanted. It's part of life. He's fine.""Fernando is a tremendous player, a fantastic guy too," said Di Matteo.
