Fernando Torres insists Liverpool can win games without him and Steven Gerrard.
Torres, 25, feels beating Manchester United, with a crocked Steven Gerrard watching from the stands, has given the Reds more belief they can down anyone - whoever is in the Liverpool side.
He said: "We knew this was a massive game as we needed to win to keep our chances alive in the title race. We had to play as a team and keep working hard.
"But when we play as a unit we can beat anyone so we need to be strong and focus on our possibilities because after this we obviously have more confidence.
"That was the main thing we take from the game. We knew we had the players to beat United but we needed to do it for our confidence.
"It would have been very low if we could not have done that. But now we are talking about a victory and a fantastic performance. Now we know we have to play together as a team.
"It doesn't matter who the players are. We could beat everyone without me, Stevie, Dirk Kuyt or Yossi Benayoun.
"Liverpool have a fantastic team and we have to show everyone that."
