Liverpool's Fernando Torres is expecting to be fit for Tuesday's return leg against Real Madrid in the Champions League. Torres has been missing in action since the first clash with Madrid and it was feared he would be out of the Reds next two important clashes, the Madrid match and the league clash with Manchester United.
"I hope to be available for both of the matches because they will be two great games," he said in a webchat on his personal site fernando9torres.com.
"The ankle injury has been giving me some trouble and the recovery process is taking longer than I hoped.
"However, I am quite optimistic that I will be ready for the match versus Real Madrid, and if the ankle holds out, I will also be at Old Trafford."
