Torres left Liverpool for Chelsea in a £50 million deal last Monday.
And the Sunday Express says Chelsea have slapped an astonishing £100million buy-out clause in his contract to ward off European rivals.
Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini admits he fancied Torres last summer, while Barcelona and Inter Milan are also long time suitors.
