Chelsea ace Fernando Torres has welcomed their capture of Internacional midfielder Oscar.

Torres is confident Chelsea will be a major force when the campaign starts and believes Oscar will give the team a major lift.

He said: "Everyone at Chelsea is excited to have Oscar with us. We are sure he is a great player and will have a bright future.

"Hopefully, he can finish as late as possible in the Olympics because it will be good for him, the same for Juan Mata with Spain and Daniel Sturridge with GB. It will mean they are in the final. However, we want them back as soon as possible to join in and help us, to be involved as much as they can with the Chelsea team and we can all start to think about the new season."
