Gabriel Torres was over the moon after signing with Colorado Rapids late last week.
The 24-year old Panamanian striker has joined the Rapids as a Designated Player and is looking forward to getting started with his new club after making the move from Venezuelan outfit FC Zamora.
"I'm happy with my introduction to the group and to be here," he told MLSsoccer.com. "I've met all the players and things have gone well so far.
"My wife said she really like the idea of living in the United States. That was a big part of my decision."
He added: "I really like the project they have here. They say that I can play a big role."
