Toronto FC midfielder Amado Guevara has been voted Major League Soccer's Player of the Week for Week 10 of the 2009 season.
Guevara scored two goals to help Toronto FC down the New England Revolution 3-1 at BMO Field on Saturday, May 23.
The MLS Player of the Week award is the fifth for Guevara and first since the 2006 season when he was a member of the New York Red Bulls.
The Major League Soccer Player of the Week is selected each week of the MLS regular season by a panel of journalists from The North American Soccer Reporters (NASR). The group consists of members of print, television, radio and online media.
