Toronto FC's Bright Dike admits he cannot wait to start working closely with Designated Player signing Jermain Defoe.
The 31-year old striker will officially join TFC from Tottenham at the end of February and Nigeria international Dike is eager to learn as much as he can from the man who sits fifth on Spurs' all-time scorers list.
"You know, Defoe is a world-class player and any time you play alongside a player like that, it's a good person to pick his brain and learn from," he told MLSsoccer.com. "I'm looking forward to that."
Dike arrived at the BMO Field from Portland Timbers in September last year before scoring one goal in seven MLS appearances for the Canadians at the end of the campaign.
