Toronto's De Rosario hoping for agreement between league and players' union

Toronto FC's Dwayne De Rosario is hoping there is an agreement between the league and the players' union very soon.

As the collective bargaining agreement is yet to be sorted, there are fears the 2010 MLS season may not kick off this month because players are not getting the salaries they want.

De Rosario was hopeful a decision would be made very soon.

"Hopefully we come to a decision fairly soon and we're not forced to make a decision that could affect ourselves and the league but also the fans," he said.

"We want to start the league but we want our just reward and we're not asking for much.

"If things don't get resolved then we have to (strike)," he added.

"There's no way we can step aside for another four or five years (the length of the old CBA) and be satisfied with that."
