Toronto FC will be without midfielder Carl Robinson for the rest of the season.
The 32-year old has suffered a fractured cheekbone after a collision at training and will unavailable again this term, leaving a gaping hole in the centre of the pitch for the Reds.
The Welshman has been important for Toronto in his third season at the club and Chris Cummins will need to find an apt replacement for him.
Pablo Vitti and rookie Amadou Sanyang are among the options as is Adrian Seroux who is capable of moving from centre-back to midfield.
