Toronto FC signing Earnshaw: I'll keep playing for Wales so to line-up with Bale

Toronto FC signing Robert Earnshaw says he won't retire from Wales duty because he wants to keep playing with Tottenham star Gareth Bale!

After swapping Cardiff for Canada eight days ago, many assumed the hitman, 31, might call time on an international career spanning 11 years, 58 caps and 16 goals.

The ex-Cardiff and Nottingham Forest ace said: "Someone like Gareth Bale is so exciting to play with.

"He excites me as a footballer and it's such a great feeling to be on the same team as him.

"I want to be involved with that again - because if I'm playing with Gareth Bale I know it's going to bring out the best in me."
