Toronto FC’s de Guzman delighted Henry is now in MLS
Toronto FC midfielder Julian de Guzman believes the news of Thierry Henry signing with New York Red Bull is great for MLS.
de Guzman said the inclusion of players such as Henry can only improve the quality of the competition and he was all for the signing.
“It brings a great value to have a player such as Henry come into the league,” he told the Toronto Star “It shows the league is becoming much better in terms of quality when it can attract players with that type of experience.”
