Toronto FC forward Chad Barrett is targeting more consistency in his goalscoring after a double against Chicago Fire on the weekend.
The 25-year old has scored in two of his past three games and knows he needs to continue in this vain if he is to of value to his team.
"I need to score goals. I've said that from the get-go," he said.
"I still have a lot of goals to give. That's something I'm looking forward to doing."
Barrett's teammate, Dwayne De Rosario, has scored six times in seven matches this season but said it was nice to see others playing well in front of goal.
"It's nice to see those guys confident in front of the net," said De Rosario. "I know how it is when you can't get a goal for a while and you finally get your chance and you finish it.
"It's a great feeling. You feel like you've got a weight off your shoulders."
