Mike Grella, a former Duke University player, has been offered a contract to play with Leeds United in England. After a successful two week trial, sources revealed to Soccer By Ives that the 22 year old is close to finalizing the details.

Toronto FC used a 34th overall pick on Grella recently in the SuperDraft even though he had made clear indications he wanted to play in Europe.
