Toronto FC head coach Paul Mariner insists that the club has already begun putting things into place for next season.
The Reds ended up as the worst-performed team in MLS in the 2012 regular season with just 23 points from 34 outings and Mariner was strong in his convictions when planning for the future by indicating the club would actively seek to bring in new players.
"As far as I'm concerned, pre-season starts now," said the former Arsenal and England star.
"We've got to get a lot of injured people back, which is No. 1.
"When you think about the injured people that are out, it's basically down the spine of the team. I still maintain we need four or five players and we'll be okay."
