Toronto FC finally convert goals at BMO Field

Following a 3-1 home win against New England Revolution, Toronto FC head coach Chris Cummins is finally pleased that fans get to see league goals at BMO Field.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Cummins said, "We've been criticized as of late, and we criticize ourselves as well. We've been creating a lot of chances, and not been putting them away.

"It wasn't a great game, I don't think it was a great game, we've played better in a loss, and we've played better in a draw.

"But what matters at the end of the day is we've outshot them 16-10, we had 10 on target put 3 away and we ground out a result.

"The difference is they've come up with the goals at the right time, and we keep fighting and they'll keep getting their chances. I'm over the moon for the lads, I've just said in there it keeps that little gap at the top I'm pleased for the fans too as they deserved to see a few goals."
