Toronto FC head coach Preki Radosavljevi? has handed an olive branch to departed forward Ali Gerba.
The Cameroonian-born Canada international was released by the club recently and was scathing in his assessment of both coach Preki and director of soccer Mo Johnston in an interview following his dismissal.
However, Preki has preferred to stay away from a public argument, rather choosing to express his best wishes to the player.
"We wish Ali all the best," Preki told reporters. "He's not here with us anymore. We gave him a [chance] and we figured he wasn't going to be in our plans we wish him the best."
