Toronto FC coach Carver: I'm having a go at the referee today

Toronto FC coach John Carver was left fuming with official decisions during his team's 3-2 defeat to FC Dallas. Speaking after the game Carver said, "When your job is threatened, and on the line, because of decisions like that, then I've got to say something, I'm having a go at the referee today.

After pulling two goals back in the second half, Carver was happy his players took the responsibility of being outplayed in the first half.

"In the second half I asked them to take some responsibility and they showed a bit of character," Carver said.

"Obviously getting a goal on the stroke of half-time (from Serioux) on a set play that we worked on -- I'm pleased it's come off.

"We came out in the second half and dominated the game and deservedly so go back into it," Carver continued.

"It's very disappointing not to come away with something, let alone losing the game."
