Toronto FC brings in Morrow from San Jose Earthquakes

Toronto FC have announced the acquisition of 26-year old defender Justin Morrow.

The Reds have picked up Morrow from San Jose Earthquakes in exchange for allocation money which has delighted general manager Tim Bezbatchenko.

"In Morrow, we are adding a young, all-star caliber player to our back line," Bezbatchenko said. "Justin's steady presence, versatility and MLS experience make him a great addition to the club."

Morrow, who made his international debut for the USA in January this year, joined the Quakes in 2010 and made 73 MLS appearances for the Santa Clara club.
