Toronto FC announced Friday the club has signed Welsh International striker Robert Earnshaw.

As per team and league policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. He will be added to the roster upon receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

Earnshaw, 31, most recently spent time on loan in Israel with Maccabi Tel Aviv from Welsh club, Cardiff City F.C (Cardiff City).

" Robbie is an experienced player who has been a consistent goal scorer for club and country," said Toronto FC President and General Manager Kevin Payne. " With his pace and craftiness we expect him to create challenges for opposing defences. We're thrilled to have him join our team."
