Toronto FC have progressed to the final of the 2011 Nutrilite Canadian Championship where they will take on Vancouver Whitecaps.
TFC downed Edmonton 1-0 at BMO Field on Wednesday night thanks to a 7th minute goal from Alan Gordon to follow on from their 3-0 away win over the North American Soccer League second division team last week.
In Vancouver, the Whitecaps scored in extra-time to record a 1-1 draw with Montreal Impact to move through to the two-legged decider which kicks off at Empire Field on May 18 before the return leg in Toronto the week after.
