Toronto FC head coach Ryan Nelsen insists his job is not done even though the club has made two massive signings this week.
The Canadian outfit unveiled English striker Jermain Defoe and American midfielder Michael Bradley from Tottenham and AS Roma respectively on Monday but Nelsen is not under the impression that this pair will completely change the fortunes of the Reds.
"From when I first came in here to where this team is now, this is what I wanted and it was the end goal," the New Zealander told MLSsoccer.com. "That's why we did the things we did last season, so that we could be in a position like this.
"We're going to lose to teams that we shouldn't lose to. That is life when you are growing. What I do know is that there is a vision moving forward and we have a goal and that we have guys that are committed and dedicated to it.
"Are we a finished product? Of course not," he added. "We know where we are. We've got to get a winning culture in the team. We've got so many things to do. But we understand that and everybody at the club understands that."
Last season, Nelsen's first in charge, Toronto finished second bottom in the Eastern Conference with just six wins from 34 outings to end up with the third-worst record in the league.
