The striker was released by Torino in June after his contract ended. Oguro joined the Italian club in 2006 after a season in France with Grenoble but was unable to find the net in Serie A.

In his last stint in Japan, Oguro formed a deadly relationship with Brazilian hotshot Araujo as the Kansai club clinched the championship in the last minute of the 2005 season.

"I'll try to score as many goals as I can," the 28 year old told reporters in the Japanese capital.
