Torino's Dzemaili: I'm still angry with Bolton
On-loan at Torino, Blerim Dzemaili has launched a furious attack on parent club Bolton Wanderers.
“I don’t know if I am the revelation of Toro, but I will admit I didn’t think I would do this well so quickly here,” confessed Dzemaili.
“I still have contact with a few directors and teammates, but I am still angry with Bolton and don’t want to think about them any more.
“I am a player at Torino and not Bolton. I am grateful to Torino for allowing me to be reborn as a player and I’m determined to save the team from relegation. President Urbano Cairo deserves it, too.
“Right now I need to focus on improving myself and the team. I owe a great deal to [former Torino Coach Gianni] De Biasi, even if he was unable to field me the way he wanted to because of injury. We are trying to change our mentality under Walter Novellino now.”

Absolute rubbish. Dzemaili joined Bolton in the summer of 2007. "2-3 years"? Hmm forgive me but isn't it January 2009? He's already made 13 apperances for Toro, playing in September. He also played for Bolton V Sheff Utd in the FA cup on 5th January 2008. Came on at half time for Hunt. Not given another chance despite playing regularly for the reserves.
Been getting very good reviews in a poor Torino team and will be an excellent permanent buy. Could prove to be a mistake by Bolton.
My point is: HE WAS OUT FOR LESS THAN 8 MONTHS and spent 14 months at Bolton before going on loan.
Get your facts right before slagging off a very good young player.
this guy was rubbish
no wonder hes gone off to play for one of the worste teams in italy seria A
Just for the record...
Blerim was bought by Bolton and before he even arrived on a plane to England, suffered an injury needing more than a year recovery time, surgery by top US doctors and major physiotherapy. It was nearly 2-3 years before the player was even allowed to play football based on advice by doctors.
Bolton paid for the surgeries by top US surgeon Mark Steadman, paid for the physio, and also honoured his FULL salary while he was sat not doing what he was bought to do. This proved to be an expensive mistake as despite playing for the reserves, he was deemed no good enough to get into Bolton's starting line up.
Any other player would feel they had a debt to repay to the club, Work really hard and prove their worth, fight for the right to be in that first 11. Bolton allowed him to get some first team football by loaning him to Torino so he could do this.
What does Blerim do? Well he moans like a big baby doesn't he? Does he still after all this time feel that Bolton owe him even more?
This boy is everything that is wrong with modern football and I hope he's ashamed of himself...
