Torino turn to Lazio keeper Sereni

Torino are moving for Lazio goalkeeper Matteo Sereni.

After being beaten by Atletico Madrid for AC Milan keeper Christian Abbiati this week, Torino president Urbano Cairo and sports director Stefano Antonelli are quickly seeking talks with Sereni about a move to Turin.

Sereni is leaving Lazio this summer after falling out with management over a contract dispute. The keeper was on £800,000-a-year at Lazio, but Torino directors are convinced he will accept an offer in the region of £400,000-a-year with the guarantee of being the club's outright No1.
