Manchester United's £10.5million bid for Torino's Matteo Darmian has been knocked back, according to reports from Sky Italia.
It is understood that bringing Darmian to Old Trafford has become a top priority for United manager Louis van Gaal who is determined to sign a new right-back this summer.
However, Torino were reportedly unsatisfied with United's original offer, having reportedly valued the 25-year-old full-back at £14m. It is not known if the Red Devils will up their bid for the Italian international.
