Torino star Alessandro Rosina is delighted that Walter Novellino is set to be named as new coach.

"It's a great move by the club," said the Italian star. "The club hasn't sat on its hands. They've moved quickly and found us a very good coach.

"I've spoken to friends who have worked with Novellino and they all say he is a great trainer. He has great charisma and the blood of a coach. He is the ideal choice for Torino to take us into the future."

On the departure of Gianni De Biasi, Rosina added: "You know what I've said about De Biasi. I had an excellent relationship with him. But you must respect the club's choices."
