Atletico Madrid midfielder Ruben Perez is delighted with his move to Torino.
Perez has joined Toro on-loan for the new season.
"Being here for me is a great challenge," Perez told reporters at Toro's training base. "I believe that Italian football is stronger than Spanish football.
"Regrets? I decided to leave Atletico Madrid because for me the challenge is more important, and I will also have the possibility to play and show what I can do more.
"We are also in the Europa League and that will be very important. This club is historic and I have never participated in European competition. I hope I can do well."
