Torino signing M'Baye Niang has wrote an emotional tribute to AC Milan.
Niang left Milan last week for the Granata.
“I was a child when I arrived in Milan for the first time five years ago," wrote Niang.
“Being a Milan player always has been and always will be 'special.' The goal in the Coppa Italia against Reggina, Serie A, the trio of Mohicans, hitting the post in Barcelona, the Champions League years and the disappointing ones.
“But now the time has come to take myself away from this marvellous world. From Milan. There are many reasons, I'd have so much to say, but today I simply want to say THANK YOU for everything you've given me. For everything.
“The hesitation over the last few days was down to the fact I wanted to choose, calmly, my own destiny. I'm sorry it ended like this, but often football can make you become a hero and moments later causes problems.
“Milan and Milanisti will always have a space in my heart, despite everything. I thank those who helped me grow. A new adventure begins at Torino. I have an infinite desire to wear the Granata jersey, play and score goals.
“Thank you to President Cairo and director Petrachi, who did so much to bring me here. We'll see each other on the pitch. And then… 'Forza Toro.'"
