Torino signing Guillermo Rodriguez is excited about his move.

The Uruguayan defender completed his transfer from Cesena last week.

"I am happy to be here in such a well-known and important club as Torino," said the 28-year-old.

"When the call came, I had no doubts about giving my consent to the move. I can play as a centre-back or a full-back, so I'm at the disposal of the Coach.

"My friends spoke highly of Toro, telling me it's a marvellous club with very passionate fans.

"My teammates gave me a warm welcome and it helps that I also played with Mario Alberto Santana at Cesena last season."
