Torino president Urbano Cairo wants on-loan Inter Milan attacker Alvaro Recoba to look after himself more in games.

"I don't believe we made a mistake signing Recoba," said Cairo. "He is a great player, who started well for us and then he was hurt playing for us. These are injuries which he could have prevented.

"He is an excellent player, but sometimes can be over-physical for the type of player he is.

"We need him to be part of the team. Inter is a world away from Toro."
