Torino president Urbano Cairo has revealed how Inter Milan counterpart Massimo Moratti asked after Alvaro Recoba following his Toro debut last weekend.

"He called me yesterday to ask about how Recoba played," said Cairo. "I answered that he played well and moved freely.

"The Inter president is very pleased that the player is now with Torino. He wanted to see Recoba playing regularly."
