Torino president Urbano Cairo says their signing spree this summer was done to keep them well away from relegation.

"We don't want to suffer any more," said President Urbano Cairo after last year's escape from relegation.

"We have introduced 12 new players, renovated the Board of Directors and signed a great Coach. We will have fun."
