Torino president Urbano Cairo has accepted full responsibility for their relegation.
Their 3-2 defeat to Roma yesterday condemned Toro to Serie B for next season.
"I take full responsibility," said Cairo. "Mistakes were made, including mine, and as President I take responsibility for those choices.
"I will pay the economic and moral consequences. There is bitterness and disappointment, of course, but now we have to look to the future and forget what happened up until now."
On the future of coach Giancarlo Camolese, Cairo added: "Camolese would've been in pole position for the bench if we had stayed up, now I want to consider every eventuality and look at what options we have.
"Camolese did good things, but we missed out on our objective. It was a close thing, as I think back to the games against Bologna and Genoa, where with more points it would have been a different story today."
