Torino are considering an approach to Shakhtar Donestk for striker Cristiano Lucarelli.

Should Shakhtar make an early exit from the Champions League, Torino will seek a loan deal for Lucarelli in January for the second-half of the season.

Lucarelli was in Italy last weekend and took in Cagliari's clash with Genoa.
