Stoke City have fielded a new approach for Gianelli Imbula.

The French midfielder is currently playing on-loan with Toulouse, where he is battling for consistency this season.

However, that hasn't put off Torino which have made an approach to Stoke about a January deal.

Tuttosport says negotiations have already kicked off over a permanent deal with Toro willing to cough up €15m to sign Imbula.

Stoke are expected to give the deal the green light with Imbula not seen as a long-term prospect by management.
