Torino goalkeeper Matteo Sereni has praised fans after their 1-1 draw with Lazio.

"I was convinced that we'd already won the game," Sereni explained. "There is big regret. We paid for the same old classic reason - we lapsed in concentration and conceded a goal.

"Lazio deserved to equalise and to draw. They haven't stolen anything from us, even if we really hoped for a victory.

"Before the game, the fans welcomed us with one big 'Wake Up'," Sereni added, though, as defender Marco Pisano reveals, it wasn't to everyone's liking.

"We still hope that they will be patient whenever they come to the stadium and help us to do at home what they helped us do in Rome. They mustn't help the opponents."
