Torino coach Walter Mazzarri is desperate to work again with Watford attacker Roberto Pereyra.
The Argentine is on the radar of Toro, reports Tuttosport, though Watford's asking price is proving too steep.
The Hornets are demanding €30m to sell Pereyra this summer.
Mazzarri is urging Toro president Urbano Cairo not to drop his pursuit, well aware of Pereyra's quality from their time together at Vicarage Road.
Pereyra made 32 appearances for Watford last season, scoring five goals.
