Torino sports chief Giorgio Perinetti admits Barcelona are watching fullback Matteo Darmian.

The Italy international was linked with Real Madrid before their deal for Porto fullback Danilo last week.

Perinetti admits Darmian is regarded highly by new Barca football chief Ariedo Braida.

"Having players like Darmian or (Kamil) Glik is the first step to thinking about important things, but we know it will be difficult to keep them because there are many clubs that have contacted them.

"In particular Darmian, Braida likes him very much and therefore, so does Barcelona."

Barca cannot move in the transfer market until January 2016.
