Torino boss Giampiero Ventura was proud of his players for their Europa League triumph over RNK Split.
The Granata beat RNK Split 1-0 in the Europa League play-off and go into the group stage along with Napoli, Fiorentina and Inter Milan.
"We played well for 60-70 minutes, then if you don't take your chances it's only natural to suffer at the end," Ventura told Sport Mediaset.
"If we look back to three years ago, it's remarkable to see Torino enter Europe through the main door. It is satisfying for everyone: the fans, the city that rushed to the stadium tonight and will continue to do so.
"We brought back the desire to cheer on the team, the pride in these colours. After so many games, it is also very satisfying for my players."
