Torino have announced the appointment of Sinisa Mihajlovic as new coach.
The Granata confirmed the former AC Milan coach's arrival on Wednesday.
“Torino Football Club is proud to announce that Sinisa Mihajlovic will be the new Coach from next season," read the statement on the club's official website.
“The tactician has signed a two-year contract."
The notice was preceded by the announcement that Ventura would step down after five years in charge.
“The President Urbano Cairo would like to thank Giampiero Ventura for the great work done together and for the fantastic results obtained in this experience rich with mutual satisfaction," read the statement.
“The ascent continues, enriched by unforgettable pages of Torino's recent history: the seventh-place Serie A finish, European qualification after 20 years, the incredible path with the first victory of an Italian team in Bilbao, the improvement of so many players and their subsequent national team call-ups and a long list of broken curses.
“They were five beautiful years: from the President Cairo from the smallest of Pulcini all of Torino FC wishes Giampiero Ventura the best satisfaction and luck that he deserves in the continuation of his career."
