Torino director of sport Gianluca Petrachi admits they're keen on AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy.
The striker is available ahead of the January market.
Petrachi said: "El Shaarawy? First of all the financial burden is above the average of players in our squad, but if a sacrifice can be made that is worth it, then of course we will consider it.
"He is a top level player in a great team, so we have to be cautious about this. However, if Milan had the idea of loaning him out so he could play more regularly and rediscover his form, then we'd be interested in collaborating with them. It all depends on Milan."
