Former Perth Glory defender Nikolai Topor-Stanley is currently on trial with Championship clubs in England.

Topor-Stanley recently signed a two-year deal with the Newcastle Jets that includes a get out clause if he gets an opportunity abroad.

The 23-year old played a practice match with Leeds United to help increase his fitness ahead of the trials he underwent in recent weeks and it is believed a few of the clubs are interested in further trials with the former Sydney FC man.

Topor-Stanley will join his new Jets teammates next week ahead of their preparation for this season's Asian Champions League.
